ream of doing things, I do them. Wish me luck kids

Big Brother Canada is back for its 10th season, and once again the house will be filled with Canadians from across the country eager to get their hands on the $100,000 prize — and yes, of course, the title.

#BBCAN10 is ready to level up with a new diverse group of houseguests, eager to take a shot at the biggest social experiment on TV.

This season’s houseguests include a charming firefighter from Québec, a passionate theatre director from Ontario, a bubbly Master’s student from British Columbia and more. The winners of this season get the grand prize of $100,000 cash, $10,000 for a brand new wardrobe courtesy of Winners and an unforgettable travel experience from Expedia.

“Celebrating a milestone 10th season, Big Brother Canada is a reality TV trailblazer beloved by fans for its no-holds-barred approach to the internationally renowned format,” said Troy Reeb, EVP Broadcast Networks, Corus Entertainment. “After nearly a decade, we’ve welcomed Canadians with all kinds of life experiences into the Big Brother house to join one of the wildest social experiments ever seen on TV, and we can’t wait for a new season of non-stop entertainment.”

Leading up to the high-stakes season, ET Canada presents Big Brother Canada All Access airing Monday, February 28 at 7:30 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

Season 9 winner Tychon Carter-Newman joins ET Canada‘s Sangita Patel as a special guest co-host for the 30-minute special episode, featuring an exclusive tour of the new #BBCAN10 house led by Arisa Cox, a recap of the top 10 biggest moments of #BBCAN history and a sit-down interview with Carter-Newman about life after his historic Big Brother Canada win.

“We’re so proud at Insight to have been a part of Big Brother Canada from Day 1,” said Erin Brock, Big Brother Canada EP and SVP and showrunner at Insight Productions. “The love we have seen from fans over the past nine seasons has been nothing short of phenomenal and I can’t wait for them to see everything we have in store for the 10th wild season.”

Stay tuned for additional announcements about Season 10 of Big Brother Canada, including this season’s houseguests and the grand prize details.

Big Brother Canada hand-picks a group of strangers from all walks of life, sequesters them from the outside world, and places them inside a house outfitted wall-to-wall with cameras and microphones that capture their every move.

Competing for a grand cash prize, each week the houseguests battle in a series of challenges that give them power or punishment, voting each other out until the fate of the final two is decided by a jury of fellow houseguests.

According to Gowling’s profile on the Big Brother Canada website, Gowling is an “eccentric visual artist and super-fan” who will “slip under the radar by plating a cool, calm and collected social game”.

The profile also says that Gowling has a master plan to outwit the competition and claim the crown.

“My name is Jess, I’m from Cranbrook, B.C. and I’m a professional visual artist,” Gowling says in their bio video. “I do etching, mixed media paintings and ink illustrations. I do it all, baby.”

Gowling goes on to say that one of their biggest sellers is their Oracle deck – a collection of cards that provide guidance and perspective on humans’ lived experiences.

“I’m a very intuitive person, I get a good read on most things,” Gowling says in the video. “The biggest challenge in the game will be deciphering between my intuition and my paranoia. I’m not okay with being put into boxes. I’m a complete non-conformist. I identify as gender-queer and my pronouns are she and they. There is male and female, and there’s a huge spectrum in-between. In that huge spectrum of non-binary-ness I hover between female and non-binary.

“I didn’t pick this flesh-suit, I am more-so my mind and my soul than I am this physical existence that you see in front of you. I have spent the last 11 years of my life with my partner…he’s just a wonderful and supportive human.”

Gowling says they are a super-fan of the show Big Brother, and they have seen every season of Big Brother Canada multiple times.

“My strategy is two-fold. Number one is to be fluid and flexible and the other part of my strategy is to be very social,” Gowling says in the cast bio video. “I’m not the most physical person so all those gym-rats will probably destroy me at the physical competitions, but I will beat those bad boys at the mental comps with this cerebral aptitude. I’m going to win Big Brother Canada 10 because I don’t just dream of doing things, I do them. Wish me luck kids.”

This year’s contenders are from across the country; B.C., Alberta, Quebec, Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

You are going to hear a lot of familiar names when it comes to this wide receiver class. Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson from Ohio State, George Pickens from Georgia, Jameson Williams and John Metchie from Alabama and David Bell from Purdue are just some of the household names that will be drawing attention at the Combine.

One of the wide receivers that you should keep an eye on through the Combine is Skyy Moore from Western Michigan. Moore is talented and would be a more well-known name had he gone to college at a larger scale program.

WRs trending down ahead of NFL Draft
Charleston Rambo played college football at both Oklahoma and Miami. While he has had a number of talented quarterbacks throwing him the ball, he hasn’t been able to take that next step into elite status. He has speed and good hands, but without a strong Combine, he is looking at being a late Day 3 selection and having to do his best to prove to his future team he deserves a spot through training camp.

The 2022 NFL Combine is here and runs from March 2-6 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The road to the NFL Draft that begins on April 28th starts at the Combine. Quarterbacks should be working out on Thursday, March 3rd and they are usually the most-watched position at the Combine. This year, quarterbacks aren’t being mock drafted to the top-end draft positions, but you certainly need to know some names that could pop into the first-round.

Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corrall has already said that he won’t be going through the workouts at the Combine this week. He injured his ankle on January 2nd, but will still participate in the interviews that are behind the scenes at the Combine. Overall, 15 quarterbacks were invited to the 2022 NFL Combine.
