Italian marble is considered superior because of the Italian people's stone-working heritage. In ancient times, they were pioneers in the development of carriage methods, many still used to this day. In many fields including fashion, cars and natural stone, the Italians are considered quality providers like marble! They establish high-quality control standards and are regarded as technical experts for the cutting and carving of natural stone.

In terms of its durability, purity and beauty, Italian marble is virtually unparalleled in the natural world of stone. The pure, durable and beautiful white marble is considered to be superior by many to it. It is considered a testament to the longevity of several buildings, sculptures and other artworks made in Carrara marble over centuries ago.

The way in which Italian marble was formed is part of the reason for its purity and durability. Marble is essentially calcareous crystallized. When high temperatures and high pressure are met with calcium, large crystals form and connect to produce marble (a metamorphic rock) Most impurities found once in the stone are destroyed by intense heat. Large parts of white marble with different coloured veins are left behind. The colour and audacity of the veins vary with the quantity and type of minerals in the calcareous. This varies naturally depending on where the marble stands, making every marble sheet unique.
