Are You Ready to Trust? - Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are certainly a lot of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles available, but there should be a thing that you've hooked into, or caught onto? Something that triggered a transformation or perhaps a major healing. So, what was it?”



“Trust,” I said.

Think of your life since it seems to be in this world with regards to the story. How can we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I think my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who is my source?” So once we discuss the last stage to the awakening being pure trust, it's simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and trust in many of these made-up concepts, beliefs and ideas in the world. It's similar to creating a big house of cards, stacking on one card after the other. Then a good wind occurs and poof, it's only blown over. It can't even stand only a little gust of wind. It's so frail. It's so temporary. It's so transitory; It absolutely was this sense of placing trust in the Spirit and withdrawing trust in the rest; all those issues that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments.authors acim

 

Why should we trust in those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy?It certainly comes right down to the essence of who is my brother? Is it Spirit or matter? Is it Spirit or form? Furthermore how many of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried this one?So you're asking the question, “When someone dies or seems to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all of this is heading is to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will reveal is that everything is mental and that everything is really a hallucination. That is an environment of ideas and what we call manifest reality, isn't reality at all. There is no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to build his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the connection between thought and form. His lessons start out with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I've given everything I see all the meaning it's for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way up to number four, “These thoughts don't mean anything&rdquo ;.Now,



He's discussing thoughts. First He's discussing perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes home with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 ... perception, perception, perception, perception, perception ... and then number 10, “My thoughts don't mean anything.” You will see he's wanting to melt everything together and show the last veil or stage of awakening, which is trust.



The Holy Spirit uses time for you to teach us there is no such thing as time, to take us back compared to that timeless moment that is the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to teach us they are all illusions and they are all equally meaningless. That's exactly the method of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to utilize your brain to loosen the attachments from the investment in a myriad of things. What sort of things can you spend money on, in this world?
