Are You Prepared to Trust? - Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are a lot of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles available, but there must be a thing that you've hooked into, or caught onto? Something that triggered a transformation or a major healing. So, the thing that was it?”authors acim

“Trust,” I said.

Think about your lifetime as it seems to be nowadays in terms of the story. How do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I believe my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who is my source?” So when we discuss the last stage to the awakening being pure trust, it's simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and rely upon many of these made-up concepts, beliefs and ideas in the world. It's similar to building a big house of cards, stacking on one card following the other. Then the good wind arrives and poof, it's only blown over. It can't even stand a little gust of wind. It's so frail. It's so temporary. It's so transitory; It was this sense of placing rely upon the Spirit and withdrawing rely upon the rest; those items that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we rely upon those?

Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy?It really comes down seriously to the essence of who is my cousin? Can it be Spirit or matter? Can it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried that one?So you are asking the question, “If someone dies or seems to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where this is heading is to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will highlight is that everything is mental and that everything is really a hallucination. This is a full world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, isn't reality at all. There is no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to construct his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the connection between thought and form. His lessons start out with, “

Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I've given everything I see all the meaning it's for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way as much as number four, “These thoughts don't mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He's speaking about thoughts. First He's speaking about perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes back with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 ... perception, perception, perception, perception, perception ... and then number 10, “My thoughts don't mean anything.” You can see he's attempting to melt everything together and show the last veil or stage of awakening, which is trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time for you to teach us there's no such thing as time, to take us back compared to that timeless moment that's the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to show us that they are all illusions and that they are all equally meaningless. That's the approach to operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work well with your brain to loosen the attachments from the investment in all kinds of things. What kind of things can you purchase, nowadays?
