Donations and One-Time Payments for a Non-Profit Site

Hi all — I’m building a non-profit site that needs simple donation payments (one-time, maybe recurring). What payment system works well for donations with minimal friction?

For donations, using a SaaS PSP with easy checkout and support for one-time or recurring payments is ideal. It removes the burden of PCI compliance and simplifies setup. I used one where I could embed a donation widget quickly, support card and digital wallet payments, and also allow optional recurring donations. Clear reporting and easy refund or adjustment options were also important — you don’t want manual payment tracking for donors. It made bookkeeping much simpler.
