Story can really elevate a game for me, especially when it’s immersive and makes me care about the characters or world. But I’ve also enjoyed games with little to no narrative, so I guess it’s more of a bonus than a must-have.
For me, story plays a significant role in the overall gaming experience, but it's not the only factor. A great narrative can really pull me into the world, giving me a deeper connection to the characters and events. However, I’ve also enjoyed games where the focus is more on gameplay than story. I recently tried the Gates of olympus demo , and while the storyline is minimal, the exciting gameplay and visuals kept me engaged. It just depends on what type of experience I’m looking for at the time.
