The Key to True Blessings From God

Many people go to church and say they believe in God but they don't really fully understand what that really means. In this article my goal is to help you understand what it really means to believe God and be in the right state of mind to be blessed. This is not to discourage anyone from believing the way that they do but the goal is to show you how important it is to understand your true relationship with God.

A lot of people are being misled by preachers and teachers on television and in local churches. Personally I have had the opportunity to sit in churches that teach the real word of God and don't cut corners about how to tap into the blessings that God truly has for all of his people. The key to knowing how to be in the path of the blessings is to spend time with God and not let anything come before him. We have to be willing to let our extra time go to God and not to things that don't matter.

Some Preachers today are teaching that the way to be blessed is to give more tithes and offering which is surely not the case at all. Yes giving is the thing that helps the churches stay up and running but God doesn't care how much money you give at all because your heart is really what he is after. jual batu ukir dindingHow does it look for you to give thousands of dollars and still live your life in sin everyday. It's like thanks for the money but you can't buy your way into heaven.

Heaven isn't a club that you can go to buy paying a bunch of money to get in. The way some preachers are keeping the people in the churches is by walking them down memory lane and making them feel guilty about the things they have done but the bible says that God is sovereign and he forgives us for our past sins. We just have to trust and believe that he has truly forgiven us for the things we have done and we have to learn to forgive ourselves.

The true way to blessings is to spend time in prayer, fasting, witnessing and forgetting about the things that you want all the time and focus on the will of God. God's will for us is for us to have an abundant life and that we live in a way that is pleasing to him which doesn't consist of greed, talking foolishly, harming ourselves or others, committing adultery, lying, cheating and stealing. Once we start becoming content with our lives and the things God has given us then we can be in the right path for blessings.

The funny thing is we are already blessed enough if we can wake up in the morning and do the things that we do everyday, we are blessed when we have cars, buses, motorcycles, planes and all that to ride in. We are blessed when we have homes to live in, shelters to go to, and clothes to put on our bodies but the churches now a days are saying "Ask God for more even though you are already blessed beyond measure."

It's time we stop asking for blessings and be a blessing to God because we don't do enough of that. Sometimes the blessings people are looking for are right in their faces but they just don't see them. We have to learn to embrace the things that we already have and not think we are entitled to more all the time. The content heart and mind is blessed more that the greedy and selfish.
