Can you paddleboard in shallow water?

The idea behind this is to paddle in shallow water. Never do this! Especially when you're not skilled enough on a board, you can drift off to deeper water.

Is stand-up paddle boarding difficult with a three-piece paddle? Not necessarily, but there’s definitely more opportunity for the paddle to fail you. Paddle boarding is great for all skill levels, and you may find yourself using your paddle board for more activities such as fishing, surfing, yoga, touring, and even racing. If you want to paddle surf, then you should only be considering a hard paddle board, as you need the edge transition to carve it up on the waves.
