Unforgiven (1992)-Clint at his best again. Aging gunman and outlaw Bill Munny (Clint), today an unsuccessful pig farmer, chooses to get the reward for killing two cowboys who disfigured a prostitute in Big Rum,

Wyoming. Gene Hackman is fantastic as Little Bill Daggett, the area owner of the peace and Mark Webb People's program is drum-tight. The film gained four Academy Awards, including Most useful Manager for Clint. A lot of violence, but a must-see.

Wherever Eagles Dare (1968)-a World Conflict II actioner from the pencil of Alistair MacLean, starring Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood. As usual with a MacLean plan, it's difficult to flag down who's who or what's what as double- and triple-crosses abound. Clint as Army Ranger Lieutenant Morris Schaffer mows down half the German army.
