The Everest region is one of the most famous places in Nepal and across the world, mainly due to the majestic Mt. Everest being the world’s tallest mountain standing at the height of 8,848m. This trek provides the experience of culture and tradition of the friendly Sherpas, explore the Sherpa Museum, their colorful monasteries such as the Tengboche Monastery — the largest monastery in the Khumbu region, visit the Sagarmatha National Park and of course climb to the base of Mt. Everest — the highest peak in the world.
The Everest Base Camp trek is categorized as having a moderate level of difficulty. The individual just needs to have an above-average fitness level to make this trek. Upon any health issues there are health facilities in the Everest region for basic care and for intensive care, travelers have to bring to Kathmandu.
