When I satisfy someone whom I have not seen for a while, they invariably ask me, "How is that book coming?" And I have to ask, "Which one?" I typically have 2 or three books I am actively dealing with, with a lot more on the Future Titles list. And my filing cabinet is full of folders with concepts and notes, often outlines, referrals, and other materials, just waiting for me to have the time to deal with them.
