Gerard Butler Becomes Hitman in Copshop

Gerard Butler is attached to the Hollywood action film genre thanks to his role in the ...Has Fallen franchise. Feeling comfortable being an action film actor, now Gerard will appear as a hitman in his latest film, Copshop.

Reporting from Collider, Saturday (08/07/2021) Copshop is a non-formal way of referring to a police station, making the setting in which the film is very predictable: the police station.
In Copshop, Gerard plays a hitman named Bob Viddick who is hired to catch a conman named Teddy Muretto. Desperate and tired of being chased, Teddy comes up with a plan: He punches an amateur police officer so he can be arrested and jailed for running away from Bob's gun.

But Bob was no less clever. In order to follow Teddy, Bob also surrenders himself to the police so he can enter the same prison, making Teddy's life even more insecure in the thick walls of the prison.

The film will star Gerard Butler as Bob and Frank Grillo as Teddy. Apart from the two of them, the film will also feature Alexis Louder, Toby Huss, Chad L. Coleman, Ryan O'Nan, Jose Pablo Cantillo, Robert Walker-Branchaud, Kaiwi Lyman, Christopher Michael Holley, Marshall Cook, and Tracey Bonner.
