Are You Willing to Trust? - Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are certainly a lot of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles out there, but there must be a thing that you've hooked into, or caught onto? Something which triggered a transformation or perhaps a major healing. So, that which was it?”

“Trust,” I said.

Consider your daily life because it appears to be in this world in terms of the story. How can we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I think my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who's my source?” So whenever we talk about the last stage of the awakening being pure trust, it's simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and rely upon most of these made-up concepts, beliefs, and ideas in the world. a course in miracles It's kind of like making a big house of cards, stacking using one card following the other. A good wind occurs and poof, it's just blown over. It can't even stand a little gust of wind.

 

 

It's so frail. It's so temporary. It's so transitory; It absolutely was this sense of placing rely upon the Spirit and withdrawing rely upon anything else; those items that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we rely upon those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy? It really comes down to the essence of who is my buddy? Is it Spirit or matter? Is it Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried this one?So you're asking the question, “If someone dies or appears to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all this is heading would be to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will show you is that everything is mental and that everything is a hallucination. That is an environment of ideas and what we call manifest reality, isn't reality at all. There's no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to create his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the bond between thought and form. His lessons start off with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I've given everything I see all this is it has for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way around number four, “These thoughts don't mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He's speaing frankly about thoughts. First He's speaing frankly about perception, then about our thoughts, then He returns with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 ... perception, perception, perception, perception, perception ... and then number 10, “My thoughts don't mean anything.” You can see he's attempting to melt everything together and show the last veil or stage of awakening, that will be trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time to teach us there is no such thing as time, to take us back to that timeless moment that is the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us that they are all illusions and that they are all equally meaningless. That's precisely the approach to operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work with your brain to loosen the attachments from the investment in all kinds of things. What sort of things do you invest in, in this world?
