Are You Willing to Trust? - Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are a large amount of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles out there, but there has to be a thing that you've hooked into, or caught onto? Something which triggered a transformation or perhaps a major healing. So, the thing that was it?”

“Trust,” I said.

Think of your life since it appears to be these days with regards to the story. How do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I believe my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who's my source?” So whenever we speak about the past stage to the awakening being pure trust, it's simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and rely upon all of these made-up concepts, beliefs and ideas in the world. It's similar to making a big house of cards, stacking on one card after the other. Then the good wind comes along and poof, it's just blown over. It can't even stand only a little gust of wind. It's so frail. It's so temporary. It's so transitory; It absolutely was this sense of placing rely upon the Spirit and withdrawing rely upon everything else; those things that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we rely upon those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy?It really comes down seriously to the essence of who is my buddy? Can it be Spirit or matter? Can it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried this 1?So you are asking the question, “When someone dies or appears to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all of this is heading would be to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will highlight is that everything is mental and that everything is just a hallucination.

That is a full world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, isn't reality at all. There's no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to create his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the connection between thought and form. His lessons begin with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I've given everything I see all the meaning it's for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way as much as number 4, “These thoughts don't mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He's discussing thoughts. First He's discussing perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes back with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 ... perception, perception, perception, perception, perception ... and then number 10, “My thoughts don't mean anything.” You can see he's wanting to melt everything together and show the past veil or stage of awakening, that is trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time and energy to teach us there is no such thing as time, to take us back to that particular timeless moment that's the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us that they are all illusions and that they are all equally meaningless. That's exactly the method of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work with your brain to loosen the attachments from the investment in a myriad of things. What kind of things can you invest in, these days?
