Are You Prepared to Trust? - Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are a lot of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles on the market, but there must be a thing that you've hooked into, or caught onto? Something that triggered a transformation or even a major healing. So, the thing that was it?”

 

“Trust,” I said.

 

Think of your lifetime as it seems to be nowadays in terms of the story. How can we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I do believe my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who's my source?” So once we speak about the last stage of the awakening being pure trust, it's simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and trust in many of these made-up concepts, beliefs, and ideas in the world. It's similar to building a big house of cards, stacking on a single card following the other. author of a course in miracles A good wind comes along and poof, it's just blown over. It can't even stand a little gust of wind. It's so frail. It's so temporary. It's so transitory; It absolutely was this sense of placing trust in the Spirit and withdrawing trust in the rest; those issues that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments.

 

 

Why should we trust in those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy? It certainly comes right down to the essence of who is my brother? Can it be Spirit or matter? Can it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried this 1?So you are asking the question, “When someone dies or seems to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where this is heading is to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening can tell you is that everything is mental and that everything is just a hallucination. That is an environment of ideas and what we call manifest reality, is not reality at all. There's no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to build his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the bond between thought and form. His lessons start with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I've given everything I see all the meaning it's for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way as much as number 4, “These thoughts do not mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He's discussing thoughts. First He's discussing perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes back with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 ... perception, perception, perception, perception, perception ... and then number 10, “My thoughts do not mean anything.” You can see he's attempting to melt everything together and show the last veil or stage of awakening, which will be trust.

 

The Holy Spirit uses time to teach us there's no such thing as time, to take us back to that particular timeless moment that is the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us that they are all illusions and that they are all equally meaningless. That's precisely the approach to operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work well with your brain to loosen the attachments from the investment in all kinds of things. What sort of things do you spend money on, nowadays?
