Are You Prepared to Trust? - Teaching from This Moment Is Your Miracles

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are certainly a lot of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles available, but there must be something which you've hooked into, or caught onto? Something that triggered a transformation or a major healing. So, the thing that was it?”

“Trust,” I said.

Consider your life as it is apparently these days with regards to the story. Just how do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I think my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who is my source?” So whenever we discuss the final stage to the awakening being pure trust, it's simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and trust in all of these made-up concepts, beliefs and ideas in the world. It's similar to building a big house of cards, stacking on a single card following the other a course in miracles authors. A good wind occurs and poof, it's just blown over. It can't even stand only a little gust of wind. It's so frail. It's so temporary. It's so transitory; It absolutely was this sense of placing trust in the Spirit and withdrawing trust in anything else; all those things that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we trust in those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy?It certainly comes down to the essence of who's my cousin? Can it be Spirit or matter? Can it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried any particular one?So you are asking the question, “If someone dies or is apparently dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where this is heading would be to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will reveal is that everything is mental and that everything is really a hallucination. This is a full world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, is not reality at all. There is no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to construct his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the connection between thought and form. His lessons start with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I've given everything I see all this is it's for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way up to number four, “These thoughts do not mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He's referring to thoughts. First He's referring to perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes back with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 ... perception, perception, perception, perception, perception ... and then number 10, “My thoughts do not mean anything.” You can see he's wanting to melt everything together and show the final veil or stage of awakening, which is trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time for you to teach us there is no such thing as time, to take us back compared to that timeless moment that's the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us that they're all illusions and that they're all equally meaningless. That's precisely the way of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work well with your brain to loosen the attachments from the investment in all sorts of things. What sort of things can you invest in, these days?
