Amanda Batula Reveals She Lost "15 to 20 Pounds": Here's How

If you've noticed that Amanda Batula looks a bit different now compared to her first days on Summer House, you're not imagining things. While answering fan questions on Instagram Stories amanda batula college on April 27, the New York City-based graphic designer opened up about her body transformation over the past several years and revealed that she's lost some weight.

"Season 2, which was my first official season, was actually when I was at my heaviest," Amanda shared. "I don't know how much I weighed because I refused to step on a scale, but I would say I've lost between 15 to 20 pounds since then. And I'm now back down to my weight that I was in college."

She added, "I know that number might sound really big compared to how I looked then — it's not like I was huge — but I gained weight very evenly and I carry it in my face a lot too. But I had to buy a whole new wardrobe because I could not fit into my clothes that year."

The Summer House star credits "intermittent fasting and Bulletproof [coffee] and cutting out all sugar and carbs" for her results. (As fiancé Kyle Cooke exposed in a past interview, Amanda isn't too fond of the gym.) Amanda also shared a few tips she found helpful like to "give into your cravings in small doses, so that you don't over indulge" and to not count calories, "but just try to eat a lot of protein" and vegetables.

Her last tip: don't step on the scale. "I avoided the scale for a full year because the number that you see doesn't matter, what mattered to me was how I felt in the clothes that I was wearing and how I physically felt about myself," she explained. "As long as your favorite pair of jeans fit — that's the end goal."
