A Week's Vacation in the Islands of the Aegean Sea With a Sailing Boat

Just you and your mate, in remote bays, and yet in the most popular islands. The sailing vacations are a way of life, which nevertheless can be followed by all.

Day 4: If the wind is strong, stay in the area visiting the neighboring island of Kato Koufonisi and swim in the crystal clear waters, snorkelling or go hiking around. Since the huge island of Naxos to the north obstructs the wind in order to make our life on board more comfy, the location is very secured from big waves. In the afternoon go back to the very same marina in Pano Koufonisi.

In case that the weather condition allows set sail to Amorgos, the island of the "Huge blue" film. Lease a bike or a car here to check out the wild appeal of this paradise. Visit the popular monastery with the breath taken view from its veranda and attempt "rakomelo", the local alcohol drink. Supper at "Xilokeratidi" is going to be an unforgettable romantic event by the seaside.

Day 5: Iraklia is another island of the "Minor Cyclades" which is worth to be gone to especially for those who want to experience small, peaceful, cute and isolated places, agent of the Greek spirit. After a short stop for swimming at Antikeros on our method from Amorgos to Iraklia we will end up at the stunning port of the island.

Here you can swim to the neighboring beach, diving from the yacht and treking around delighting in the pure nature. Dinner at Iraklia means fresh fish and the local tavernas more hospitable than anywhere else are ready to satisfy your expectations.

Day 6: Antiparos, the last island of your sailing cruise. After a 4-5 hours sailing trip and of course after the important stop for lunch and swimming we end up in Antiparos late in the afternoon. Roaming around the small streets of the gorgeous village, have supper in one of the hundred dining establishments and continue with a drink at one of the regional bars. Night life here, particularly in high season, is a needs to for everyone.

Day 7: Before setting sail for your last location visit the cavern of Antiparos. On your return on board leave instantly for a nice anchorage at a little island north of Antiparos with crystal clear water.
