Are You Ready to Trust? - Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle



Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are a lot of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles on the market, but there has to be something which you've hooked into, or caught onto? Something which triggered a transformation or a major healing. So, what was it?”



“Trust,” I said.



Consider your life since it is apparently nowadays in terms of the story. Just how do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I think my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who's my source?” So whenever we speak about the last stage of the awakening being pure trust, it's simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and rely upon many of these made-up concepts, beliefs, and ideas in the world. It's a lot like building a big house of cards, stacking on one card after the other. Then a good wind arrives and poof, it's just blown over. It can't even stand only a little gust of wind. It's so frail. It's so temporary. It's so transitory;



It was this sense of placing rely upon the Spirit and withdrawing rely upon everything else; dozens of items that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we rely upon those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness?



Are they really trustworthy? It certainly comes right down to the essence of who is my buddy? Could it be Spirit or matter? Could it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how many of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried this one?So you are asking the question, “When someone dies or is apparently dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all this is heading would be to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will highlight is that everything is mental and that everything is just a hallucination.



This really is a world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, isn't reality at all. There's no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to create his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the text between thought and form. His lessons start with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I've given everything I see all this is it's for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way around number 4, “These thoughts do not mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He's referring to thoughts. First He's referring to perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes back with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 ... perception, perception, perception, perception, perception ... and then number 10, “My thoughts do not mean anything.” You can see he's wanting to melt everything together and show the last veil or stage of awakening, which is trust.a course in miracles




The Holy Spirit uses time for you to teach us there is no such thing as time, to take us back to that particular timeless moment that's the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to show us that they are all illusions and that they are all equally meaningless. That's precisely the way of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work well with your head to loosen the attachments from the investment in a myriad of things. What kind of things would you spend money on, nowadays?
