River Plate midfielder Enzo Fernandez's response to Manchester United's target

River Plate midfielder Enzo Fernandez remains humble despite being linked with Manchester United (MU).

The 21-year-old is believed to have caught the attention of the Red Devils hierarchy after opening the 2022 season with four goals and three assists in 11 appearances across all competitions.

Manchester United manager candidate Erik ten Hag has reportedly given the club the green light to sign Fernandez.

However, the former Argentina Under-20 international refuses to let himself be carried away by speculation.

"Relax, humble, with a low profile. I try to work day by day to continue to grow and develop," Fernandez told the press, as quoted by TyC Sports.

“Fortunately I found regularity, continuity and my team-mates and coaching staff helped me a lot. I handled it well. I thank you for the compliment, I read a lot of their messages and I'm happy. I will continue on this path."

Fernandez's deal at River Plate will expire in the summer of 2025. Apart from Manchester United, Man City and Real Madrid have also been linked with Fernandez.

United are ready to welcome a new era under the control of Erik ten Hag. The Dutch coach is said to be the new manager of the Red Devils team starting the 2022/2023 season.

A big change will be made by Erik ten Hag in building a stronger and more competitive Manchester United squad. The team reshuffle is clearly his first agenda at Old Trafford.

MU targets as many as 10 new players to come and strengthen this team. While 11 players who are already part of the team will be expelled.

MU will pursue new players for the position of central striker, central midfielder, and central defender. Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur and Declan Rice of West Ham are at the top of Manchester United's shopping list.

Other targeted players include Antonio Rudiger, Kalvin Phillips, Aurelien Tchouameni and Darwin Nunez. However, the Daily Mail reports via The Sun, that United's transfer budget could be as low as 20 million pounds if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

#Ralf Rangnick comments on the news that Erik ten Hag has made a deal with Manchester United

Manchester United (MU) is said to have agreed with Erik ten Hag. The Ajax Amsterdam coach will be Ralf Rangnick's replacement at Old Trafford from next season.

United only appointed Rangnick as interim manager until the end of the season. The German man was trusted to continue the leadership of the sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United have reportedly reached an agreement with Erik ten Hag. However, Rangnick didn't care about the rumors.

Rangnick chose to focus on polishing Bruno Fernandes et al. against Norwich City in Week 33 of the Premier League at Old Trafford, Saturday (16/4/2022) night WIB.

"I don't know if there's been a deal done," Rangnick said, quoted from ESPN.

"My focus is on the game against Norwich and to prepare the team at a higher level," he explained.

However, Rangnick is still willing to respond to the figure of Erik ten Hag. The Dutch architect he called a quality coach.

"We all know he is a good manager and he did a good job at Ajax and his former club," Rangnick added.
