My trolling motor has been making this very loud squealing noise when I set the speed anywhere between 1/3 to max speed. It only does it 25 Dec 2016 My trolling motor started making a thumping noise at low speed, mostly on no. 3 and 4 speed. It goes away at higher speeds but I'm mostly on Its been making this noise since I took it out of the box brand new. I cant do warranty work on motor guide, but i would be glad to take a look Have a Motor Guide digital 82 lb. 24 volt. Was trolling in open water the other day and lost one blade of the prop. Does it in the water or out of it and the noise is near the prop or in the motor. Took prop off and no fishing line. Any suggestions?
