Previously, a brief overview of this product was given. At the request of inexperienced users, I provide a manual for installation and configuration. You can download Webroot internet security for free (installer). First of all, you need to decide for what purposes you will use this program. If Webroot Internet Security will be used as an antivirus and a firewall at the same time, then both programs that previously performed these functions for you should be removed. Be sure to disconnect from the Internet before deleting. It is also better to disable the regular Windows Firewall. Double click on the cispremium_installer.exe installer to launch the installation. www.webroot.com/safe

The program will automatically select the English language, if it suits you, then click OK.

In the next window, you can leave everything as it is.

But it is better to activate the checkbox in the first line before Change DNS server settings... Click on Installation options. Uncheck the box next to Install Webroot SecureAnywhere. If you already have a good antivirus, and Webroot Internet Security will be used only as a firewall, then you should uncheck the box Install WEBROOT antivirus.

Click Back, and in the previous window click on Agree, Install.

After installation, you will be prompted to reboot.

Don't be afraid, you are just disconnected from the Internet and the program, having met an unfamiliar application, cannot query the "cloud" (a database on a remote server) about the reliability of this application. With the Internet connected, such questions will be asked relatively rarely. Therefore, immediately connect to the network, check the box next to Send files for recognition in Webroot, uncheck Remember my choice and click on Block (this should always be done when you are not sure that you are dealing with a good program). Even if you make a mistake, then everything can be corrected later. After connecting to the Internet, the anti-virus databases will immediately be updated, after which you will be prompted to scan your computer. If you have used anti-virus programs before, then it will not be difficult to deal with anti-virus functions. Webroot Internet Security starts working normally already with the default settings. If you do not have enough experience, then it is better not to change anything.
