Hello, the belling bucket is a tool designed to drive bored piles with an increased base area into cohesive soils; can only be used with covers. During operation, loosened soil enters the open sections of the body. The soil is removed through a manually opened bottom. I can say that this is indeed a very useful tool for drilling.
