tried functional or integrative

Hey everyone, I’ve been browsing around and came across some discussions about more holistic approaches to healthcare, and it got me thinking. Has anyone here actually tried functional or integrative medicine clinics in the US? I recently stumbled upon a private clinic that focuses on functional medicine, and the whole idea of looking for root causes instead of just treating symptoms sounds interesting, but also a bit unclear to me in terms of real results. Is it actually worth it, or just another trend? Curious to hear if anyone has first-hand experience.

I was actually in the same position not long ago a bit skeptical but curious. I ended up trying it after finding a clinic through this page integrative medicine austin texas. What stood out to me right away was that it felt like a more comprehensive model of care compared to what I was used to. Instead of quick visits, they really took time to look at everything lifestyle, stress, nutrition, even things I didn’t think were connected. I won’t say it’s some instant miracle, but in my case it genuinely helped. I had ongoing fatigue and just felt "off" for a long time, and after a few months of following their recommendations, I noticed a real difference more stable energy, better sleep, and overall just feeling more balanced.
