For starters, and probably like all animals, the cat probably features a worldview something akin to it being the heart of things - the be-all-and-end-all - and that the entire environment the pet finds itself in is there to offer for all your cat's requirements. From the domestic cat's point of view, the world owes it a full time income! How otherwise can the cat view things? One's home perceptions have a tendency to revolve about 'I'm the middle of the universe' since you are many intimately bound up in your worldview with your self and much less intimately with such a thing else. For starters, and probably like all animals, the cat probably features a worldview something akin to it being the heart of things - the be-all-and-end-all - and that the entire environment the pet finds itself in is there to offer for all your cat's requirements. Therefore, anything else, in a self-centred worldview must be subservient. Of course the pet usually finds out the hard way that elements of the additional reality have differing opinions. That never seems to shift the cat's worldview however that it is 'top dog'* and justifies good luck that comes their way - which might perhaps not be all of the 'best' that character could provide but the cat doesn't know that.Cats undoubtedly haven't any understanding, probably like toddlers, to be in the manner, underfoot, at risk of being trodden on or lay upon, while helping themselves to whatsoever little bit of home geography suits their fancy.
You could end from their selfish (from our stage of view) behaviour, their worldview must certanly be one of 'supreme being' and 'rank has its privileges', and such a worldview may persist at the very least until such time as their trail gets moved on or they get cast out from the easy chair! They still possibly see themselves as great beings - it's their worldview of you that's now somewhat changed. The normal mind of the household and pet manager is probably relatively of the opinion or has the rationale that 'I pay the costs, thus I contact the shots and what I claim goes'!
Cats often will understand 'mind of the household' for the reason that in cat society, as in all pet societies, all cats aren't similar - there is a hierarchy and one cat alone is likely to be 'prime dog' since it were. But there's nothing in a cat's worldview that corresponds to money or expenses or economics or finance. Every thing is really a free lunch, be it sunlight or the electric/gas/wood heater you, the dog owner, spend for. Even when the pet goes outside and draws and eats a mouse, it's still as free a lunch in terms of the cat is concerned as the foodstuff you add in their food bowl.
To ensure that bit about 'I'michael the employer because I spend the bills' does not have any meaning or significance to the cat because the idea of 'bills' is foreign.Cats haven't any mythology about shopping. The post Yuletide sales and weekly deals at the store are strange concepts. So is that nearly supreme abstraction to individuals - time. Birthdays are a non-event without understanding once they happen and with no relevance in just about any event. Ditto those different special points over time like breaks we individuals are passionate with. Cats don't produce a practice of remaining up late on New Years Eve. It's of no consequence.
Weekends are no unique of weekdays.Equally the cat has seemingly number worldview of tomorrow or of the future (though it features a memory of the past). It doesn't save your self for a wet day. I've never observed a pet hide out some of their dried pet food pellets for a future emergency or even a midnight snack. A pet is quite 'now' oriented. A cat probably does not have any notion of demise, less an afterlife. I've always tended to have two cats at any given time on the theoretical reasons they've companionship when I'm not around.
