Understanding the Metaphysical Facets of A Course in Miracles (ACIM)

An application in Miracles (ACIM) is a non-dualistic spirituality which contains some guidelines the hypnosis of the split mind. Understanding these metaphysical aspects assists in the request of the principles within ACIM when generating choices. Without actual application, these principles are just ideas; but with application they become an experience, and experience changes everything. The ego doesn't want you to remember that the idea was just a choice; but the mind remembers where it originated in. It naturally returns to peace when you choose the Holy Spirit Right Mind.

Remember the ego's judgment above: Splitting up is a sin punishable by death. For having separated, it now places guiltiness in the mind; and says you must be afraid of the now vengeful God who wants to kill you for what you've done. The Right-Mind -- the split mind and the two conflicting thought systems is very evident. Compare the two sides to know what you are going for in a given moment. These very clearly illustrate the hypnosis of the mind and having lists makes it readily apparent why one system of thinking affects and the other heals. You can only choose one thought system, or model, at a time because it is always one or the other. You still retain the decision maker. Which one will you choose?

The ego wrong mind is based on judgment and splitting up from others going back to the original splitting up idea. That splitting up sin now punishable by death which also contains the beginning of guiltiness and fear. When you choose the judgmental ego as cause, your effect is:

The Holy Right Mind is based on sharing and oneness and returning your brain back to the peace of God and out of the illusion of choice. This says that the error never occurred and you are still as God created you. There is nothing else. When you choose the Holy Spirit as cause, your effect is:
