Stage Hypnosis Is Different From Other Forms

We've all seen acts where people from an audience are "hypnotized" and programmed to act like chickens or howl at the moon on command. But, how is this done? And, what exactly is stage hypnosis.

Stage hypnosis can work in one of two ways, in general. It can either be an actual true form of hypnosis, or stage hypnosis can be nothing more than an act. What is actually being done in stage hypnosis will depend on the performer him or herself. There are all kinds of applications for stage hypnosis. They range from pure entertainment to actual group sleep app individual sessions to help people overcome problems or addictions.

Those who practice stage hypnosis by using the real principles of hypnosis will find they can have their acts go a little hit or miss. The effects of stage hypnosis tend to only work on those who are very receptive to the relaxation techniques employed. When this is the case, however, stage hypnosis can offer some amazing results.

Stage hypnosis in its true form, whether it deals with an individual subject or an entire audience, will generally involve a more abbreviated form of real hypnosis. To make stage hypnosis work, the hypnotist will first attempt to relax the audience or individual. Once relaxation is achieved, the stage hypnosis act (or even seminar) will proceed to helping a person clear his or her mind for suggestions on the subconscious level. Once the mind is receptive, stage hypnosis moves forward to those suggestions.

Although many thing of the chicken act when they think of stage hypnosis, this may or may not be the main attraction for a stage hypnotist. The reality is many who use stage hypnosis do so with an attempt to perform mass or group hypnosis. This can be employed to help motivate people to achieve their goals, break habits lose weight and so on. In reality, stage hypnosis can be for entertainment and even to help people better themselves.

In the pure entertainment form, stage hypnosis might be used in a set up to entertain an audience. This form of stage hypnosis may or may not employ actual techniques. The reason for a potential bluff is the fact that not all people are open to hypnosis. It will generally only work very well - especially in large crowd situations - when the subject's mind is open to the prospect. When stage hypnosis is performed using a "plant," it's done to ensure the act goes off without a hitch.

Stage hypnosis has its entertainment side and its practical side. For a room full of smokers, stage hypnosis might be a group effort to kick the habit. For a dinner-time crowd, stage hypnosis might be nothing more than a fun and entertaining act.
