Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise Review - Giàn Phơi Bảo Minh

Sega released Fist of the South Star: Lost Paradise, an website action-adventure game for the PlayStation 4. It is loosely based upon the Japanese manga Fist of the North Star Left Bank. The game presents a new story on an old one, telling how the two parts of a group of young North Americans start to become enemies when they discover the mysterious 'Remnant'. The game starts with a short introduction of its main characters as well as their back-story. We also get to see a first glimpse of gameplay, which is presented with typical Virtua Fighter style movement, though it is presented in a first person perspective. It also displays some of the game's features like the ability to equip or unload weapons, dodge attacks and back-up during boss fights.

The story of Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise follows the story of Kenshiro, who after finding out that his deceased father owns a shop that deals with selling 'Reiki' (an alternate healing method using the energy of crystals), decides to quit his day job to pursue his dreams of becoming a master swordsman. However, he discovers the shop's actual owner is Shinichi Kaatsuhiro, a reincarnated Shinichi Katsuhiro who has been trying for his son to be moved from Japan to America to learn how the sword works. Kenshiro’s father left Japan to send Shinichi to learn the true art and method of swordsmanship.

The first part of this storyline begins with Kenshiro's friendship Ritsu Tancho. Ritsu is also looking for a Shinichi-like master. While at a martial arts training school, Kenshiro meets new friends like Yoruichi Shihoin, Maki Shuba, Tazumi Suzuki, Yumiitsu, Momoiro Arrogato, Hitoba Eiji, and Genryuji Sw Shinra. They are all women who have a fighting background, but they don’t realize it. Therefore, they create the "ourage" Tancho Kenshiro Ritsu. While the four of them start learning moves from each other, they are dismayed to find out that they are not as good as their instructors. Ritsu gets hurt and must withdraw from martial art training. Tancho enters a tournament for martial arts to win back Maki. He is quickly defeated by Tancho.

The second part of this storyline shows us what happens to Tancho after he leaves. They decide they need to be stronger if their goal is to take on the Bakugan Monsters that frequently attack the town. They then form a group with Hitoba (Keiichiro) and Rihoko (Rihoko), who are also strong in their strength. They then form the Nodame clan which protects the Earth.

The third storyline is about how the foursome of them save the Earth from the Bakugan. After learning that the Bakugan was responsible to the destruction of the Earth, the group formed the Nodame’s Clens and formed a force in order to protect the planet. Tancho and the rest of the team join Shinichi Kzuryu, a legendary thief, to form Nodame's Ninja Clan. They will continue to protect Earth. Tancho and Kenshiro continue to seek clues leading to the Bakugan's whereabouts.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise wouldn't have been as good without Shusui the "trickster". His presence is a minor nuisance and makes things more difficult for readers (although I think he was always intended to be there). Aside from this minor complaint, I thought the story line was very well told. Fist of the North star: Lost Paradise is more than meets the eye. This will be a great movie for all ages.
