It is going to get breezy at the 2011 BET Awards. For more than a decade the BET Music Award has reigned as the biggest family event rivaling all top awards shows. BET Music Award is undeniably an amazing red carpet event where you will not only witness "who's who" in the music and entertainment industry - but also some of the top musical performances ever seen in the music industry. The nominations for the 2011 BET Awards are in, and Chris Brown comes on top with a whopping six nominations. The R&B/pop star, who stole the show last year with his outstanding tribute performance to Michael Jackson, is up for Best Male R&B Artist, twice in Best Collaboration, Video of the Year, Best Actor, and Viewer's Choice. Close behind Breezy is Lil Wayne with five nominations, while Rihanna, Drake, and Kanye West score four nominations.

Nominations Announced

Best New Artist nominees include J. Cole, Wiz Khalifa, Bruno Mars, Willow Smith and Miguel. Chris Brown scores two nominations in Best Collaboration for "Deuces" featuring Tyga and Kevin McCall and "Look At Me Now" featuring Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne. Breezy is up against B.o.B and Hayley Williams' "Airplanes," Rihanna and Drake's "What's My Name?" Waka Flock Flame, Roscoe Dash and Wale's "No Hands" and Kanye West and Rihanna's "All of the Lights."

In the Best Male Hip Hop Artist category, B.o.B, Drake, Lil Wayne, Kayne West and Rick Ross will all face off against each other. Other Hip Hop acts that are nominated for a 2011 BET Award are J.Cole for Best New Artist, Nicki Minaj for Best Female Hip Hop Artist, B.o.B. and Hayley Williams for Best Collaboration, Kanye West with Pusha T for Video Of The year, Diggy Simmons for Best Young Star.
