A Week's Trip in the Islands of the Aegean Sea With a Sailing Boat

Only you and your mate, in remote bays, and yet in the most popular islands. The cruising holidays are a method of life, which however can be followed by all.

Let's start our cruising trip from Paros Island. The advantage of Paros lies in the truth that Paros lies exactly at the center of the Cyclades with a lot of islands around, hence making your cruising vacations in Greece a perfect option.

For supper a kiosk run by a local shepherd provides barbeque just with regional products. Do not expect high-ends here. Undoubtedly, it's going to be your preferred place at the end.

Day 3: Set sail from Kalando heading for Koufonisi. A short stop at a fantastic spot, called Rina, where you can swim inside a sea cave. Incredible colors everywhere.Koufonisi without a doubt the most lovely of the small Cyclades islands with many sandy beaches all around. Rent a bike and visit all of them. Supper at "Captain Nicolas" place is out of any type of negotiation along with a frozen mojito at the windmill bar just above the marina.

Day 4: If the wind is strong, stay in the area going to the neighboring island of Kato Koufonisi and swim in the crystal clear waters, snorkelling or go hiking around. Since the big island of Naxos to the north blocks the wind in order to make our life on board more comfy, the location is really secured from huge waves. In the afternoon return to the exact same marina in Pano Koufonisi.

In case that the weather condition allows set sail to Amorgos, the island of the "Huge blue" film. Lease an automobile or a bike here to check out the wild charm of this heaven. Visit the famous monastery with the breath taken view from its balcony and try "rakomelo", the regional alcohol drink. Supper at "Xilokeratidi" is going to be a remarkable romantic event by the beachfront.

Day 5: Iraklia is another island of the "Minor Cyclades" which is worth to be gone to especially for those who wish to experience tiny, quiet, cute and separated places, agent of the Greek spirit. So after a short stop for swimming at Antikeros on our way from Amorgos to Iraklia we will end up at the stunning port of the island.

Here you can swim to the nearby beach, diving from the private yacht and hiking around enjoying the pure nature. Dinner at Iraklia indicates fresh fish and the local tavernas more hospitable than anywhere else are ready to meet your expectations.

Day 6: Antiparos, the last island of your cruising cruise. After a 4-5 hours sailing journey and of course after the important stop for lunch and swimming we end up in Antiparos late in the afternoon.

Day 7: Before setting sail for your last location go to the cave of Antiparos. Buses are offered simply 100 meters away from the yacht. On your return on board leave immediately for a good anchorage at a little island north of Antiparos with crystal clear water. The afternoon has currently come in addition to the goodbye time.
