A New Revolution in Wireless Reversing Camera Systems Is Finally Here!

They have always been an attractive idea and solution to many vehicle owners that want to stay out of the service centre and keep their 'no claims' bonus.

Firstly because of the easy installation- with the typical wireless camera systems, you only have to connect 2 power cables and your done... Obviously you have to mount the camera and monitor but this is done in minutes after selecting your desired positions.

Secondly you don't have to pay a fitter to install the kit for you which can cost at least 90 pounds. They will do a good job but you're just burning cash as it's so easy to DIY and a project that any novice could successful complete in under 2 hours any Sunday afternoon...

Thirdly, you can add multiply cameras later down the road. ip camera system  horsebox owners use additions cameras to check the livestock from different angles throughout a journey and for unloading. Some lorry drivers have even installed these wireless cameras in the loading bay (with independent power supply), so when they are reversing in they can switch between channels on the wireless monitor to pick up the live image of their truck or lorry backing into the yard which saves a lot of time and improves safety.

With the possibility of up to 4 separate cameras on your vehicle, all accessible with the touch of a button on the monitor (quad view optional) and without having to run wires all over your vehicle is a massive selling point to vehicle owners.

And lastly you can take the whole system out of your vehicle and swap it to another in under an hour! (sometimes less if you have a cigarette adapter for the monitor) Great for forklift operators that don't want to outlay and buy wireless observation systems for each individual vehicles.

For example I know forklift operators that use these wireless camera systems as forklift observation cameras. Using a 12 volt battery pack to provide power to the camera, it can be mounted at exactly eye level of the forks so the operator can be extremely accurate when loading and unloading- Again this increases productivity and improves safety in the work place.

When the operator wishes to switch forklifts or lift truck he can just unplug the kit and remount it on the next vehicle in no time at all (camera clamps optional)- A totally portable observation solution!

The fact is they make more sense in theory however in practice some wireless reversing or observation camera systems can let the side down...

There are a few reasons for this-

The transmitters are not powerful enough to send a constant signal over 12 meters (which is the required distant for caravan owners) therefore the picture and image can flicker at a crucial point while reversing your new motor home. When talking about your 'pride and joy' you need a system that will be reliable in all conditions and provide years of protection.
