Rangnick Falls Out with Manchester United Player

Ralf Rangnick admits to having another dispute with a Manchester United or MU player. This time their opinion differs over who the next manager of this Premier League club will be.

The German, who is currently in charge of Manchester United on a temporary basis, had endured a difficult journey with his squad, before the Red Devils appointed him to a permanent post before the end of the season.

Mirror Football reports United's players want former Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino to take over in the summer.

Pochettino's name had actually been heavily linked with the job before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer handed over the keys after a similar situation in 2019.

Rangnick himself, who will take on a two-year consulting role at Old Trafford, has claimed he also has the potential to remain as manager.

Recommendation
"The people I've spoken to so far have been very clear that we're talking about a six, six-and-a-half month role as manager at the moment," Rangnick explained.

"Maybe if they ask for my opinion and everything goes well and we develop the team, I will probably make the same recommendation to the board that I did at Leipzig twice when I recommended him, it might be a good idea to keep working with me for a year. " he said.

Regarding disputes with players, Rangnick has another target in mind, namely Erik ten Hag from Ajax.

According to ESPN, Ten Hag is someone he admires and the 63-year-old believes would fit in at Old Trafford. He feels he shares a closer connection in terms of style of play than with Pochettino.

However, Pochettino, who is contracted to PSG until June 2023, also has a proven ability to drain the blood of young players. He has already shown during his time at Southampton and Spurs that he can develop an attractive, attacking and attractive team.
